ur goal with this project was to make a narrative experience that focuses on people and their troubles. Though the original concept for the game was to make something grim and almost horror like the game and it’s message changed as we started working on it. Now it has evolved into a beautiful, low poly experience about life and the choices we make.
My Contributions
for this project, we used a completely new engine Lumberyard 1.6 upgraded to 1.9 at the end. nobody on the team ever worked with lumberyard so progress was very solo. so spend quite some time learning the engine. for the game, I made the journal mechanic where the player can track where he/she left in the story. further, I made the audio part for the dialog system and made a layer switch so the rooms show the mental state of the entity. messy rooms to nice clean rooms.
